mmm...mini donuts...the next BIG thing!
Sugar Lips ~ Denver began its sugary crusade in 2009. Our strong desire to become a part of the farmer's market community lead us to mini donuts! After a wonderufl first season at the Highlands Farmer's Market, we moved the operation into a vintage Cardinal trailer. The trailer allowed us to become a part of the Denver Street Food scene. We had a blast and met some wonderul people!
We realized we needed to be able to sell our delicious donuts year-round, which lead us to Copper Mountain! We opened our store front wood cabin in West Village at the heart of the Copper Mountain ski resort.
Sugar Lips ~ San Luis Obispo was created by our sister in 2008 and continues to be a successful vendor in the San Luis Obispo farmer's market. Click here to view their facebook page! A BIG thank you to our family who helped immensely with this little biz of ours!
We believe in buying local, selling local, and take pride in being a part of the Denver street eats society and the Summit County community.
We proudly use compostable and recyclable products wherever possible. We cook our donuts in soy bean oil, then donate the used oil to Denver Bio Diesel. They in turn use the oil to fuel their vehicles...pretty cool, right?
In addition to donuts, we now offer shave ice, soft serve ice cream, and delicious specialty coffee drinks. We serve loacally roasted coffee from Paris On The Platte. Be sure to visit them at their Denver location which celebrated it's 25th year in business this year!
